The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Paralegal to join our Sydney CBD office on a permanent full-time basis, assisting a Special Counsel and a Senior Associate with matters in Immigration Law. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about immigration law.

Please note, due to the nature of this full-time position, we are unable to consider applications from current law students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive file and document management
  • Regular client liaison
  • Coordination of police checks and translations
  • Immigration document drafting
  • Proactive handling of solicitor and client requests
  • Providing high-level support to the team
  • Legal research when necessary
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • A genuine interest and/or experience in Immigration Law (essential)
  • Paralegal experience (preferred)
  • Confidence in client and professional interactions
  • Strong communication, organisational and file management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
