Client Services Officer

Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers is a mid-tier law firm with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Hobart and Newcastle. The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly proactive, experienced and personable first- or second-year law student to join our Marketing and Business Development team based in our Sydney CBD office. This role would suit a law student wanting to work at reputable Firm on a casual basis (3 days per week).

You will be primarily responsible for taking new client enquiries over the phone, entering the information into the NCE database and referring the information to the legal team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients on a wide range of sensitive issues/requests in accordance with the Firm’s NCE Procedures
  • Manage all incoming enquiries from multiples advertising sources
  • Maintaining the New Client Enquiry (NCE) database
  • Supporting the team with the effective delivery of the Firm’s Marketing/BD campaigns, programs & initiatives
  • Preparation of monthly Marketing/BD reports
  • Coordination of publications alongside the Marketing team
  • Assistance with preparing the Firm’s internal communications
  • Assisting and supporting the team with the effective delivery of onsite and offsite events
  • Providing general support to the Marketing/BD Team

Successful candidates will have:

  • An engaging, warm and friendly manner with a client service focus
  • Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills, particularly Excel
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • availability to work three days per week -Monday,Tuesday,Friday
