Heidi Shooks

Heidi Shooks is a member of Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Compensation Law team and has experience in a wide range of areas including medical negligence, public liability, product liability, workers compensation and institutional abuse law.

With experience in both plaintiff and defendant work, Heidi’s experience allows for a strategic approach to litigation and early resolution of matters for her clients.

Heidi is passionate about supporting her clients through the course of their legal proceedings. She believes a client focused approach is essential to understanding her client’s needs and to help facilitate the best outcome in a timely manner.

Key Professional Achievements

• Heidi has a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Criminology from Western Sydney University.
• During her studies at Western Sydney University, Heidi received an award sponsored by Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers for her outstanding performance in medical law.
• Heidi completed a Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in April 2023.
• Heidi was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in June 2023.
• She is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Macarthur Law Society.
• Heidi joined Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers in July 2024.
