Dr Kezelman AM will look at inter-personal violence and the impact unresolved trauma can have on those who directly experience it, such as lifetime patterns of fear, long-term difficulties with emotional regulation, feelings of helplessness and disconnection and shame. As well as current research in the field of complex trauma and ways of putting trauma into perspective.
About the speaker:
Dr Kezelman AM is a General Medical Practitioner with direct experience of surviving complex trauma. Dr Kezelman AM in her role as President Blue Knot Foundation teaches the principles of self-care to those faced with overwhelming traumatic experiences, or people dealing with the impact of complex human misadventure in the course of their professional lives.
